Distribution Centre kept in pristine condition between tenancies

MS Webb is keeping a prime distribution warehouse, in Bedford safe and secure while it awaits a new tenant. The property is a high-quality warehouse comprising of three storeys including loading bays and car parking area, extending approximately 22.5 acres and is neighboured by two leading brands occupying large buildings on the same park.

Joe Webb, Operations Director and Co-Owner at MS Webb said "This highly visible and easily accessible warehouse required a robust security solution while vacant between tenancies.  Our challenge was to ensure the site remained secure, undamaged and in pristine condition before the new tenant arrived.

"Upon surveying the site, we identified a need to secure multiple access points.  We saw these as the weak points and installed concrete bollards to prevent access, as well as creating a chicane system using concrete bollards to ensure security and contractors could still access site.  We then installed an intruder detection system internally, covering all doors, fire exits and loading doors. Finally. an internal alarm system was connected to an NSI Gold Accredited Monitoring Station.  Additionally, we introduced two dog handlers to patrol the site, serving both as a deterrent and to provide additional security monitoring."
